A police sergeant remarked: “Residents, motorists and our traffic officers have had enough with these groups of motorists selfishly occupying public roads and parking areas and we will not tolerate it.”
He added: “They are not only a complete nuisance, but they also place themselves and innocent bystanders at risk of serious injury.”
The statement concluded: “We will continue to take legal action against these individuals and I hope these latest incidents serve as a caution: you won’t get away with it.”
